New technologies are set to push the future of farming to the next level

Smart farming is an emerging concept that refers to managing farms using technologies like ICT, IoT, robotics, drones and AI to increase the quantity and quality of products while optimizing the human labor required by production. It refers also to the innovations that enable farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs to leapfrog to increase their productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness, facilitate access to markets, improve nutritional outcomes and enhance resilience to climate change.
